The location of the property was perfect, right in the heart of the old city. From my room, I had incredible views of St Sepulcre, the Dome of the Rock, and other famous sights. the team at the hostel was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces. We appreciated their knowledge and kindness.
That the property seemed a bit deceptive. I booked a 4-bed shared room, but upon arrival, I was given a bed that had been rented out to someone else.

I had a wonderful stay at Jaffa Gate Hostel. the location was fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from Jaffa Gate in the Christian quarter. Being so close to everything in the old city was convenient, and I could even hear the beautiful prayers from the mosques across the old city from the balcony. the staff were incredibly helpful and kind, always offering tips and answering any questions I had. the hostel itself had an authentic structure with old brick walls, making it beautiful and charming. the communal spaces and garden were great for relaxing and there is a lovely view from the roof.
A great place to stay. Cons: No complaints.

Great location: the hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, close to all the main attractions and within walking distance of public transport. It was easy to explore and get around.
Room condition: Unfortunately, the rooms were not up to par. They were small and not very clean, which was a bit disappointing.
